Grooming Policy

Flea Infestation Policy If fleas are found on your pet during the grooming process, a fee of $50 will be added to your groom. This includes the removal of fleas on your pet, and the sanitation process our tools and shop will require afterwards. You will still need to provide your pet with a proper preventative as soon as possible. Matting Fees Charges from $5-$30 may incur if your pet comes in with matting. Matting produces large amounts of stress and tension on our tools, damaging them, and sometimes even breaking them. When removing matting your pet is also at a much larger risk for injury due to the skins compromised position. Nicks, cuts, skin irritation, and hematomas may be present after the removal of severe matting. De-Matting Fees If you wish to attempt the de-matting process, we will save as much coat as possible without causing unnecessary pain and suffering to your pet. A rate of $1 per minute applies. If your pet is unable to be fully de-matted this fee still applies for the amount of time spent actively de-matting your pet. Special Handling If your dog is geriatric, aggressive, or hard to handle, Special Handling fees may incur. Due to the extra time, and extra set of hands, a fee ranging from $5-$30 may be added to your groom. Impacted Undercoat If your pet has an impacted coat, fees from $10-$30 may apply. It requires extra bathing, brushing, force-drying, detangling, and in some cases special shampoo to remove the undercoat. Undercoat Fees If your pet has an overproduction of under-coat, fees from $5-$15 may apply. It requires extra brushing, force-drying, and rinsing to remove the undercoat.
